Torod is the Chief Communications Officer for Lenovo, the world’s largest PC and tablet manufacturer and, through its ownership of Motorola, one of the world’s most iconic mobile brands. At Lenovo, he oversees worldwide corporate and product PR, social media, events & sponsorships, as well as internal & executive communications teams.
Before joining Lenovo, Torod was Corporate Vice President of Corporate Communications for Verizon
Inc., where, among a series of roles with increasing responsibility across the company, he oversaw
communications for each of Verizon’s primary business units.
Previously, Neptune was Chief Communications Strategist for the U.S. Congress, responsible for
establishing the first post-September 11 and anthrax crisis communications functions for the U.S. House of Representatives. Preceding Capitol Hill, Neptune was Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing and Communications with Bank of America Corp.
Named by PRWeek to its ‘Power 50’ list, recognizing the top 50 communications officers defining the playbook for the industry, Neptune began his career as a reporter with The State, and received a B.A. in International Affairs and Journalism from the University of South Carolina at Columbia.
