Deirdre has twenty years’ experience working both agency and client side across a broad spectrum of sectors including: food and nutrition, consumer health, technology and lifestyle. For the past fourteen years, Deirdre has held various positions at Ketchum. During her five-year tenure as Managing Director of the Brand Practice, Deirdre significantly grew the London consumer offer, expanding into areas such as Food & Drink, Homes & Interiors, Entertainment and Fashion & Style. During that time, she also held senior consulting roles on Procter & Gamble, Premier Foods and Mars, advising on the development and roll-out of integrated, multi-market campaigns for pillar initiatives.

Deirdre is the Global Client Director for Signify (formerly Philips Lighting), overseeing integrated communications which includes corporate reputation, crisis & issues, consumer engagement, digital & social and internal communications) across their 16 regions. She is also focused on expanding Ketchum’s Creative Services – ideation, planning, research, design and production – and leads business development.

Deirdre’s expertise lies in strategic brand building, marketing to women and influencer management at a local and global level. Prior to Ketchum, on the agency side, Deirdre worked at Hill & Knowlton Strategies on Procter & Gamble and at Charles Barker (acquired by Weber Shandwick) on Cadbury and IBM. Deirdre started her career on the client side at Warner Music as a Brand Manager. Deirdre holds a Finance degree and a MBS from University College Dublin, Ireland.
