While media relations and reputation management is his forte, Wasim has led and managed a number of projects in internal communications, social media, public speaking, change management, reorganisation, rebranding, event management and crisis communications in Islamic and conventional banking. He has a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced corporate settings through strategic communications, a strong professional network and innovative thinking.
Most recently, he led the successful profiling plans for the bank’s executive management team in the region, including the regional CEO for Africa and the Middle East as well as the country CEO.
He believes in success and personal achievement and values personal integrity. His strong drive, discipline and ambition for success allowed him to manage time and resources across multiple tasks, geographies as well as inspiring individuals and teams to optimise delivery.
Wasim holds a degree in Business Administrations as well as Global Master of Business Administration (MBA), Major: International Management, from the Swiss Business School. A certified Public Speaker and an International Protocol & Etiquette Consultant by two well-recognised bodies: the Protocol School of Washington and the Department of Protocol, Dubai. So, he got the best of both worlds: local and international; a competitive advantage that has helped me share my advice on cross-cultural strategies, intercultural communication and geopolitical issues.
