Roger Darashah

LatAm Intersect

Cambridge-born, Lisbon-based Roger Darashah is the epitome of a global professional. Having built multi-national agency teams in London, Paris, Barcelona, São Paulo, and Mumbai for other firms, Roger’s curiosity about untapped markets and passion for cultural exchange inspired him to co-found LatAm Intersect PR (LIPR). Since 2019, Roger has worked alongside his co-founder – Brazilian PR leader Claudia Daré – to build an independent, proudly Latin American agency that achieves global success. In just six years, Roger has led the expansion of this small startup to become one of the top 5 PR agencies in Latin America, with dedicated teams in 16 countries, and a client portfolio emanating from the US, Australia, Canada, Spain, India, the Middle East, and China. The success of the agency comes from its unique ‘audience-based’ approach, created by Roger and informed by his globetrotting career. As someone who has worked in three different continents, and who taught himself Portuguese online while leading a team in Mumbai, Roger understood that his clients’ success in Latin America goes far beyond translating their own message and expecting to be understood. Instead, Roger and his teams always begin with the audience first — seeing things from their perspective and recognising their cultural nuances. Only once they’ve understood this audience do they start joining these conversations and sharing their client’s story.
