Solamente Unidos (“Only Together”) is a national CSR-led campaign created by Simplicity to address Chile’s mental health crisis by empowering emotional accompaniment. Built on the insight that no one overcomes a mental health crisis alone, the campaign focused on families, friends and communities who support others without professional guidance expertise. The initiative began by listening to the people. Through the website www.solamenteunidos.cl, the campaign invited people across Chile to share experiences of supporting someone with mental health challenges. Over 1,000 testimonies revealed a widespread gap between willingness to help and having real and effective competence to do it. These insights were validated through research conducted with MIDAP and Provokers Chile. Based on this evidence, the campaign delivered Chile’s first practical Guide for Emotional Accompaniment in Mental Health. The initiative reached more than 13 million people through top-tier national media and organic social media participation from over 50 public figures, such as nationally recognised athletes, actors, musicians, journalists and media personalities with mainstream audiences. With a modest investment of USD 6,700, Solamente Unidos generated USD 560,000 in PR Value and USD 186,000 in Ad Value, achieving a 2,700% ROI and transforming awareness into collective action.
