Teachers' Smart Up

Teachers’ Smart Up is a free national professional development initiative launched in 2022 by Sigma Software University to support Ukrainian educators during a period of rapid educational transformation. Designed in wartime, the program set an ambitious goal: to equip teachers with modern EdTech skills, updated curricula, and industry-aligned knowledge to prepare students for a digital future. Built on deep audience insight, the program draws on long-term collaboration with 65+ universities and continuous post-season research. Its core audience includes school teachers, university instructors, administrative staff, and educational leaders — all seeking to strengthen digital readiness and modernize teaching. Additional stakeholders include government partners, media, and Sigma Software experts who serve as speakers and mentors. A strong, partnership-driven communication model enabled steady growth. Collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, national tech communities, and regional clusters helped the initiative gain credibility and expand organically. Over 65 high-profile industry experts joined as lecturers and ultimately became project ambassadors, amplifying visibility through their professional networks. Seasonal content campaigns, expert-led intensives, and an active Telegram community of 1,700+ kept engagement consistently high. The results are transformative: over 8,100 educators engaged across all regions, 240 hours of recognized training delivered, 6M+ media reach, 200,000+ social and partner reach, a 98% satisfaction rate, and nearly 1,000 positive reviews. Recognized nationally with the DOU Award 2025, Teachers’ Smart Up has set a new benchmark for public-sector educational development in Ukraine — strategically, creatively, and at scale.
