The short film "THE EXAM" addresses the crisis of youth recruitment by criminal organizations in Mexico, mobilizing society with verified data from the journalistic project “México: Destruyendo el Futuro.” The main creative challenge was to portray a delicate issue without sensationalism and to make the media and the public emotionally connect with the story. The narrative posed a heartbreaking question: What if being a good student in Mexico ruins your life? The strategy achieved immediate results: massive media attention, a government response, and activation of sectors like education and cinema. The Exam has been recognized at international festivals: twice a finalist at Cannes Lions 2025 and SABRE Awards Latin America 2025 in the Geographic category.
