In 2025, Tom Beckman, Global Chief Creative Officer at Weber Shandwick, reinforced The Weber Shandwick Collective (TWSC) as a global creative leader. With over a decade at Weber Shandwick and a legacy at Prime, he has led the agency to the top of the Cannes Lions rankings. Tom has championed creativity and innovation globally across the Weber network of offices, and beyond that to the broader IPG network. As President of the PR Jury at the 2025 Cannes Lions, Tom oversaw TWSC’s success, earning 36 Lions, including 5 as Idea Agency and 31 as PR Agency, making TWSC the most awarded PR agency for the third consecutive year. Highlights included MSI Reproductive Choices’ Silver-winning “Vagina Privacy Network" among others. Tom’s thought leadership extended to his regular column in Contagious, where he explored bold creative strategies like brands embracing “villainy” in The Villain Playbook and the concept of “vuja de,” which encourages seeing the familiar in a fresh light to spark creative breakthroughs. He also spoke at global events, such as the Frontify Paradigms Conference, emphasising the importance of creating mutual value. Passionate about nurturing talent, Tom drove mentoring initiatives, including Creative LIAisons and the Cannes Academy. Under his leadership, TWSC's French team won Silver in PR at the 2025 Cannes Lions Young Lions Competition. In a year marked by groundbreaking campaigns and thought leadership, Tom’s philosophy, building work “for the jungle, not the zoo”, captured TWSC’s commitment to resilient, impactful creativity that shapes culture and delivers results.
