The UK Narrative campaign, led by UK Communications at BNP Paribas, aimed to raise employee awareness of the bank’s UK footprint and the diverse industries we serve by creating a concise story each staff member could deliver in under 30 seconds; a pre-launch focus group was used to develop a cohesive story around our service lines, market positioning and differentiators, prompting the development of a core narrative that defined who we are, what makes us different from peers and how we support the UK market. We produced a one page fact sheet, three short videos, and a targeted email series designed to start engaging our 8,000 UK staff in the wider story. Additional touchpoints included office vinyl stickers highlighting key statistics and a photography competition designed to highlight collaboration. These coordinated, multi channel tactics generated exceptional engagement and significantly increased internal awareness of BNP Paribas’ UK operations, demonstrating a high impact, award worthy internal communications programme that resonated across the organisation, reinforcing a shared sense of purpose, pride and engagement among staff.
