Penny Ryan

Penny is an executive leader of consumer and corporate reputation management, passionate about accelerating commercial growth whilst building trust in our most public brands and institutions.   As Director of Corporate Affairs for Bupa Health Insurance Australia, and previously Director of Brand for Bupa APAC, Penny and her colleagues are the custodians of one of the world's most loved and ambitious healthcare brands. Bupa was established 75 years ago and today its purpose endures: to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world.   Penny was previously Director of Brand, Customer & Corporate Affairs in Hong Kong, leading the crisis response to the outbreak of Covid-19 for Bupa and Quality HealthCare. Before Bupa she worked in financial services in government, policy and marketing roles including in Cambodian microfinance and as a Ministerial Advisor to the Australian Government.
